Diary of a Pirate Wench - Battle Royale

Bought and read the novel recently - omg awesome.

Fantastic book.
I watched about 10 mins of the film earlier, and it really doesn't compare, but I suppose it'll look better on a telly than with dodgy fuzzy subs on Google Video. :)

But in all honesty, the beginning of the film is FAAAAAR different from the book. The book is way more subtle. :)
I like subtlety.
Granted, the subtlety doesn't remain when it gets down to the gritty death details, but we like gore.
The subtlety is there in the plot though.
Absolutely WICKED.


The sunshine today is amazing.
I'm actually kinda surprised.
Slightly fed up that I'm always the one who gets stick for the house being untidy when mum and dad go away, but hey ho.
That'll change in the next few months when I MOVE OUT.

My letter to send off for my loans for this year came through, so I'm gonna go post that a bit later...


The sun is shining, the breeze is there, I may go play some games.
After all, I've got MGS to finish, MGS2 to play, and Fable 2 to finish for a 3rd time! 
And to pester mum/dad to buy Sims 3 collectors edition for me if I give them the dosh.
