Before even being signed in Japan, BOOM BOOM SATELLITES gained foothold as a European act through rave reviews comparing them to the Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. Sony Japan brought them home in 1998. It was inevitable that one day BBS tackle the US - the band formed in 1990 penning English-only material with the sole purpose of playing overseas where rock and dance were born. They have toured North America with Moby and flirted with the now defunct Tofu Records. Now, it is time for them to stand on their own two feet in the US. They began their journey with two brief lives, one in Los Angeles and one in Hollywood. music JAPAN plus sat down with BOOM BOOM SATELLITES before their live in Hollywood.

Hello, this is Joana from musicJAPANplus, I have only recently joined and for my very first live report as mJp-staff I had the honor to attend a concert of Kagrra, - the second show of their CLUB CIRCUIT 2009 [ 季 - meguri -] in Shibuya.

This concert had been special in many different ways, since we had been able to take you along with us on our official mJp-Twitter, with real-time coverage of what was going on before the live and behind the scenes………Please read the whole press note here!

In these series of articles we will post photos and introduce you to the many things (signboards, etc.) one can find in the streets of Tokyo!
